No.2 Paratrooper Limited
This limited edition Model No.2 Paratrooper is inspired by the bicycles used by the Swedish Bicycle Parachute Division in the second world war. This is one of Paul’s favorite paint schemes — he rides a Paratrooper version of this bicycle personally.
Includes a special titanium Brooks B17 black leather saddle and matching leather grips. The premium matte finish requires three layers of powder coat to achieve a classic military-inspired finish.
Paul Budnitz created Model No.2 specifically for shorter trips around town and weekend rides. This bicycle jumps curbs, skips over potholes, and flies over dirt, gravel, and bumps in the road.
The big front wheel absorbs shock, while the smaller rear optimizes acceleration. Features low standover, so it’s quick to get on and off, and a slightly upright geometry that still leaves plenty of power in the pedals.
Our handmade No.2 twin-tube cantilever frame is engineered to absorb road shock.
Carbon belt drive is lightweight, silent and requires no grease — so you will never get your pants dirty. Your choice of single speed, or clean and quiet internal transmission.
Features our handmade half-crown fork, titanium ergonomic riser handlebars, seatpost and badges. Built with some of the best USA-made components made, including Chris King headset, Paul Components Love levers, optional daVinci cranks, and White Industries hubs.
Comes with imported 2.35-inch (60C) German racing tires, which are big, fast, and fun on asphalt, gravel, and dirt roads. Options include wood or alloy fenders, titanium racks, saddles from Brooks of England, our own high-tech locking system, the world’s smallest brass bell, and more.
Available in both titanium and cro-moly steel.
